Pizza review
Ralph's Germantowne Pizza Haus
3.4
Cincinnati · Covington · Tavern Style · Feb 2010

Germantowne Pizza Haus is an old neighborhood pizzeria in Latonia, just south of downtown Covington. It has been around since 1970, and the restaurant looks the part: a small, German-themed place that feels distinctly local.
The pizza is acceptable but not especially memorable. The sauce is noticeably sweet, somewhat reminiscent of LaRosa’s, and tends to dominate the pie. Sauerkraut is available as a topping, which fits the setting and makes Germantowne a little more interesting than the average neighborhood pizza shop.
This is not destination pizza, but it is a neat local institution and worth trying when looking for a pie in Latonia or southern Covington.
