Mr T's Pizza

Back in the day, there were two Mr. T’s: the one who fought Rocky, and Mr. Thomas of East Price Hill.

Mr. T’s Pizza, at 389 Elberon Avenue, was a classic Cincinnati neighborhood pizzeria. They turned out straightforward, tasty Midwestern pizza - that felt connected to the old west-side pizza tradition that grew out of South Fairmount (Cincinnati’s Little Italy). It was my favorite example of the kind of local pizza that once seemed to exist in every neighborhood and increasingly doesn’t.
