Michigan and Trumbull

This is a new Detroit style pizzeria (A “Detroit Revival Pizzeria”?) located in an old garage near the intersection of Michigan and Trumbull Avenue - the location of the late great Tiger Stadium (Sidenote: the old Tiger Stadium was objectively the best ballpark in MLB). Michigan & Trumbull only offers one size of Detroit style pizza, cut in six slices: it’s enough for 3 normal people, 2 hungry people, or one guy named Frank. The pizzas are baked at 575 and the crust is a bit more crisp than say Buddy’s. It was an incredibly flavorful non-greasy crust that was crisp on the outside but soft, fluffy, and buttery on the inside - Really outstanding work! The thick very tomatoey sauce was flavorful and less salty than others (also comparing to @buddyspizzadet). That taste was complemented by the caramelized cheese, which had a bit of Parmeseany salt flavor to it . All around excellent work @michiganandtrumbullpizza, this is one of the best.

P.S. I usually don’t talk prices, but $11 was a heckuva good deal for this pizza.
