Chameleon Pizza

Chicago Style Deep-Dish pizza in Cincinnati’s Northside neighborhood. ~300 miles from Chicago, Cincinnati (like many Midwestern cities) features an assortment of mediocre deep dish pizzerias (often featuring wall decals of a Tommy gun wielding Al Capone) - this is not one of them. The key to any good pizza is the crust: here it is nicely fried and buttery with caramelized edges. Really, it’s flavorful enough to eat on its own - always a great sign. With a thick-ish red sauce, a healthy portion of mozz, and lightly charred pepperoni - it was a quite well crafted pie. They’re only available in 10” personal-size currently, but I’d love if @chameleon.pizza started doing a large-sized deep dish as well. We also tried the New York style (slide to see pics) which was good but, in my humble opinion, the Chicago deep dish was the highlight here. For us, some pizza from Chameleon was a fine way to top off @northsiderrc 🏳️‍🌈🇺🇸🏳️‍⚧️
