Brown Bear Bakery

Revisiting the one place that I’m mostly likely to be seen enjoying a slice in Cincinnati. Brown Bear usually (but not always) has only one type of focaccia per day. When it comes to focaccia squares, the key is to strike a balance between a crispy exterior and a soft flavorful interior. @brownbearbakery seems to do that using just the right amount of olive oil and salt to bring out the full flavor. In this red sauce slice, the high quality toppings complemented the savory notes of the bread as an elegantly simple combo. Just an incredibly flavorful, well-crafted slice & one of my favorites. Personally, I’d like to see @brownbearbakery have a regular pizza night - perhaps ‘Orso Bruno’?
